ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPT AND STATUS OF «COMBAT DISABLED» IN THE CONTEXT OF REHABILITATION OF PARTICIPANTS IN A SPECIAL MILITARY OPERATION

The article substantiates the relevance and importance of defining the substantive content of the concept of "combat disabled" in order to build an effective route for their rehabilitation. The problem of determining the legal status of combat invalids in modern conditions, in particular, in connection with the conduct of a special military operation (SMO), is also considered. The various terms used in scientific literature and regulatory legal acts are analyzed, and a conclusion is made about the need to unify terminology. It describes in detail the legislative framework governing the status of combat invalids and the procedure for obtaining it, including the necessary documents and the stages of passing military medical and medical-social examinations. Problem areas in the status registration process are highlighted and solutions are proposed.
