This article analyzes the key methods of developing ethnoecological culture in the process of personality formation in modern society.
An essential element of an individual's ecological culture is ecological thinking. At the current time, it is precisely this that is becoming the determining direction of the transformation of people's spiritual values. The development of modern ecological thinking is achievable through a well-organized educational process that influences all components of ecological consciousness and forms a person with an active and creative ecocentric worldview.
The authors believe that ethnoecological education is one of the most difficult tasks for teachers. To successfully solve this problem, not only knowledge of disciplines and methods of teaching them is required, but also the ability to focus their activities on the formation of an environmentally responsible person.
