This study focuses on the analysis of metadiscursive markers used for the strategy of promoting scientific results in academic articles. The work examines various types of metadiscursive markers, including boosters, hedges, and attitude markers, and their impact on the perception of the significance and novelty of research findings. The analysis is based on 90 academic articles published in Russian, English, and Chinese, which allows for the identification of differences in the use of these markers depending on the language and academic discipline. The results showed that boosters are most used to enhance confidence in research findings, while hedges are employed to express caution and less categorical statements. Attitude markers help to express the emotional attitude of the author towards the propositional content and the addressee. These markers play a key role in promoting scientific results and establishing a confident academic voice.
