THE CRISIS OF SOCIAL IDENTITY IN THE STORY OF B.A. LAVRENEV «THE FORTY-FIRST»

This article examines the problems of searching for a person's social identity in a crucial period of the era using the example of the story of B.A. Lavrenev «The Forty-first». The crisis of social identity in the context of political and social changes is an urgent problem faced by a significant number of people. The urgency of overcoming this crisis puts individuals in front of the need to choose the most effective adaptation strategy, while determining a successful behavior model becomes a determining factor in the interaction of the individual with the social environment. For the most detailed consideration of the problems of the crisis of social identity in the story of B.A. Lavrenev «The Forty-first», we used the hermeneutic method, as well as interdisciplinary methods such as the method of content analysis and the historical and psychological method, some private scientific methods, in particular, specifically sociological and socio-cultural, allowing us to study the close relationship of the features of the author's embodiment. the crisis of the characters' social identity with social and personality-psychological phenomena against the background of the historical context of the period of the 1917 revolutions in Russia and the subsequent Civil War.
