The article focuses on the study of the features of the representation of the cognitive script “Life cycle of an object” in Russian and Chinese. Using the methods of comparative linguistic analysis, the author of the article reveals general features and differences in the verbalization of the life cycle of different objects, including humans, plants, objects and social phenomena in two language cultures. The study showed that the cognitive scenario of "life cycle of an object" in Russian and Chinese reflects the cultural and philosophical differences of the two linguacultures. It was found that the Russian language is characterized by an emphasis on individualism and emotional coloring, while in Chinese the idea of social harmony, cyclicality and family values prevail. The two languages have in common the verbalization of the life cycle of a person, plants and objects through successive stages, however, the dominance of the linear perception of time is specific to the Russian language, while in Chinese the cyclic type prevails. The results of the study deepen the understanding of intercultural differences and contribute to the development of dialogue between Russia and China.
