In recent decades, interest in studying the language of prose, dramatic, lyrical works of female authors has increased in the research literature. Female dramaturgy is a unique and multifaceted area of literature that reflects social, cultural realities, the inner world, the experiences of heroes, their conflicts, creates unique speech portraits and images that emphasize the original view of a female playwright in literature.
The purpose of the study is to identify speech portraits in the dramaturgy of M. Arbatova. The scientific novelty of the study lies in identifying the potential of speech images functioning in the plays of M. Arbatova. The article examines speech representations of various models of images in the works of M. Arbatova. Within the framework of the study, two dominant models are identified: model 1 "The image of abstract concepts", model 2 "The image of a specific hero". In addition to the main models, other variants of speech portraits are noted ("Image of Relationships", "Mode of Actions"). As a result, it was established that speech portraits, as important elements of a dramatic text, often convey a figurative vision, serve as a means of conveying the author's idea, reflect social and cultural contexts, and are a vivid example of a woman's linguistic view.
