“VOLCHOK'S STORIES” AS A TYPE OF CYCLE

The article is devoted to the problem of the artistic whole cycle of modern short prose. The collection "Volchok's Tales" is studied as a type of a cycle of a short genre from the point of view of the subject, author, plot and characteristics of the collection of cycles. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics of the collection of cyclization. The novelty of the conducted research lies in the first conducted study of the series of "Volchok's Tales" based on a consistent and systemic analysis. It is concluded that the cyclization of "Volchok's Tales" is explained by the current direction of development of modern children's literature.
