LEXICAL COMPATIBILITY OF WORDS WITH THE ROOT -THEATRE- IN THE PROFESSIONAL AND EVERYDAY DISCOURSE OF ACTOR (BASED ON YU. V. YAKOVLEV’S MEMOIRS "BETWEEN THE PAST AND THE FUTURE")

This article examines the perception of theater in the professional and everyday discourse of an actor, using the memoirs of Soviet theater and film actor Yu. V. Yakovlev, "Between the Past and the Future". The analysis is based on examining the lexical collocation of words with the root -theatre-, taking into account the structural and semantic features of the identified collocations. The aim of the study is to characterize the structural and semantic features of phrases containing lexemes with the root -theatre- used in the actor’s professional and everyday discourse. A combination of general scientific research methods (analysis, classification method) and linguistic analysis (contextual analysis, structural analysis, and semantic analysis) was used. The results revealed that various lexemes are used in the construction of phrases with lexemes ending in -theatre- in the memoirs of actor Yu. V. Yakovlev, indicating the potential of this category of words for conveying information related to the perception of theatre in the actor’s professional and everyday discourse. It was established that the identified phrases express various subjectively colored semantic aspects of the actor's perception of theatre. The study concluded that studying the structural and semantic aspects of lexical collocations allows for a deeper understanding of how the phenomenon being described is perceived by the author of the text, as it emphasizes the meanings expressed by phrases with lexemes ending in -theatre- in the professional and everyday discourse of actor Yu. V. Yakovlev in his memoirs.
