FUNCTIONING OF ADJECTIVES OF THE TAJIK AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES IN WORKS OF FICTION

The aim of this study is to identify the function of the adjectival class of words in Russian and Tajik literature. This adjective has the broadest representation in both Russian and Tajik. Examples from works of Russian and Tajik writers are provided. The linguistic material includes S. Ulughzade's novel "The Morning of Our Youth" and J. Ikromi's novel "The Twelve Gates of Bukhara," as well as the National Corpora of the Russian and Tajik Languages.
