FRAME “WIN” AS A TYPE OF LEXICAL CONCEPT IN THE DISCOURSE OF RUSSIAN LITERATURE 1st HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY

Karpenko Anna Valentinovna  (Postgraduate Student, Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «Donetsk State University» )

The article is devoted to the topic of the frame "winnings". The article pays special attention to the linguistic means of expressing the frame. A frame, as a knowledge model, contains information about a recurring situation that reflects the meaning of a certain cultural phenomenon. The study identified the characteristic features of the frame, including its structure. The frame structure is hierarchical, consisting of nodes and slots that contain invariant parameters and variable information. Nodes include concepts that explain the intended situation, and slots (also known as terminals) are represented by special markers that contain variable information based on convention. Based on the model of a card game in the discourse of Russian literature in the first half of the 19th century, five nodes were identified: the player's actions (based on semantic information), the rules of the game (expressed through a syntactic model), the bet and strategy represented by lexemes of slang and professional jargon, and chance. Strategy, chance, and the bet can also be considered as variable information that fills the lower terminal. Additionally, a linguistic analysis of Russian literature texts from the aforementioned period revealed lexical markers and syntactic patterns that define the properties of the "win" frame.

Keywords:frame, frame model, top level, bottom level, nodes, terminals, semantic markers.
