This publication analyzes in detail the impact of musical and didactic games on the formation and development of musical abilities in younger students in Russia and China. The focus is on how play practices contribute to the development of auditory perception, improving rhythmic feeling, and stimulating the creative activity of younger students. The influence of such techniques on the development of fine motor skills, the ability to imagine, as well as the formation of communication skills in collective musical activity is especially distinguished. Based on the analysis of educational approaches implemented in both countries, a high effectiveness of the introduction of game forms is revealed: their positive impact on the involvement of children in the educational process, increasing their educational motivation, as well as on the quality of mastering musical material is noted. The importance of observing methodological accuracy in organizing music games is emphasized: adapting content to the age and individual characteristics of students, as well as the organic unification of creative and performing aspects in the structure of educational tasks are considered as key factors in the effectiveness of this approach.
