SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE REPUBLIC OF BASHKORTOSTAN: A COMPARATIVE HISTORICAL ANALYSIS

The purpose of this scientific work is to conduct a comparative historical analysis of charity in Ufa province and social entrepreneurship in the modern Republic of Bashkortostan in order to identify common features and distinctive characteristics. The methods used are a comparative historical method that allows us to identify common and different terms between two terms that are similar in their activities. The analysis of charitable activities in Ufa province covers the period from 1865 to 1922, when social entrepreneurship was not yet developed. In the period of globalization and digital transformations, the relevance of studying the definition and status of social entrepreneurship is increasing due to innovative approaches and prospects of social business in solving social problems. The scientific novelty of the study is to compare the economic and social contexts of the development of charity and social entrepreneurship in Bashkortostan. A comparison of classical charity and social business based on modern methods allows us to identify the key differences between the two concepts.
