STRUCTURE OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE COMPETENCE OF GRADUATES OF NON-LINGUISTIC UNIVERSITIES

The research relevance is due to the fact that in the context of globalization and integration of Russia into the world economic and educational space, the requirements for the level of foreign language proficiency by graduates of non-linguistic universities are increasing. The research goal is to determine the structure of foreign language competence of graduates of non-linguistic universities. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were solved in the study: theoretical approaches to the definition of foreign language competence were analyzed, the key components and structure of foreign language competence of graduates of non-linguistic universities were identified, and the characteristics of the theoretical model of foreign language competence were determined. The methodology of the research includes: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, formal logical method, generalization, systematization. As a result, a theoretical model of foreign language competence of graduates of non-linguistic universities was proposed, including linguistic, sociolinguistic, discursive, strategic and socio-cultural competencies, each of which is detailed by levels of proficiency.
