Cruise tourism in Russia has deep historical roots dating back to the era of steamship services on the great rivers. The current stage of its development is characterized by the growing popularity of both river and emerging sea routes. The geography of travel stretches from the Volga and Kama Rivers to the coast of Crimea and the Far East. Despite the existing infrastructural and logistical challenges, the industry demonstrates significant potential. This article examines the evolution, current state and possible vectors of further growth of this segment of the travel industry.
