The subject of the study is the process of integrating intelligent systems (artificial intelligence, machine learning, intelligent decision support systems) into programs of additional professional education for teaching staff. The article analyzes existing approaches to the digitalization of teachers’ professional development, identifies barriers and resources for the implementation of intelligent technologies. Based on the theory of andragogy and the concept of smart learning, a model of pedagogical support for education specialists in the context of hybridization of the educational space is proposed. The conclusion is made about the need to move from technological determinism to a human-oriented paradigm of using intelligent systems, in which technologies act as a tool for developing teachers’ reflective competencies rather than a replacement for professional judgment.
Keywords:intelligent systems, artificial intelligence in education, additional professional education, digital transformation of education, smart learning, reflective competencies of teachers, hybrid learning
