This article analyzes the results of a pilot study conducted to test the ART-Sophie method. The author proposes an innovative method for teaching humanities and argues that advances in art therapy can be successfully applied to the implementation of humanities knowledge. The ART-Sophie method creates a comfortable psychological environment for students to develop creative ideas based on a heuristic approach, strengthens humanistic worldviews, develops artistic and philosophical communication skills, and fosters motivation for studying the humanities. The results of the pilot study demonstrated the success of this method and its applicability not only to the teaching of philosophy but also to all humanities disciplines in both universities and comprehensive schools.
