The article analyzes the opportunities and problems of applying artificial intelligence technologies to form an inclusive educational environment in higher education. Modern AI solutions that contribute to the personalization of learning, adaptation of educational materials and overcoming barriers for students with special educational needs are considered. Attention is paid to ethical aspects, digital inequality and technical limitations of implementing AI technologies. Based on the analysis of the experience of Russian universities and the results of a pedagogical experiment conducted at the Samara State University of Social and Pedagogical Education, recommendations are proposed for the phased implementation of AI tools taking into account the principles of universal design for learning. The study confirms that artificial intelligence has significant potential for the development of inclusive education; however, its effective application requires a comprehensive approach that includes technological, methodological and organizational components.
