The article is devoted to the reconstruction of the history of the Romanovskaya underground, a Komsomol youth group operating in the Rostov region in 1942. Based on documentary and literary sources, the biographies of the participants, the chronicle of sabotage, and the circumstances of the deaths of five underground fighters have been restored. The conclusion is made about the incompleteness of historical memory and the need to preserve it.
