Increasing the speed and strength abilities of kicking movements in hand-to-hand combat

The article defines the role and importance of power, speed and strength abilities in hand-to-hand combat, analyzes the most significant techniques aimed at their development and improvement. The most favorable biomechanical conditions for applying more powerful single shock movements of the lower extremities in hand-to-hand combat have been identified, on the basis of which an updated methodology for improving the speed and strength abilities of hand-to-hand athletes aged 18-20 years has been developed. In the course of pedagogical research, the effectiveness of the changes made to the process of sports training of athletes is substantiated. Practical recommendations for the improvement and development of strength and speed-strength training of the lower extremities in hand-to-hand combat are proposed.
