FUNCTIONING OF THE CATEGORY OF PERCEPTIVITY IN A SCIENTIFIC TEXT

In this article, the functioning of the category of perceptivity in a scientific text is examined, which implies an analysis of the linguistic and cognitive mechanisms that ensure the expression of perceptual reception of information. The study is based on material from English-language scientific sources, which allows for the identification of the peculiarities in representing perceptivity in cross-cultural scientific communication. Special attention is given to the concept of the perceptual paradigm, as well as to the argumentative strategies by which authors establish the empirical basis of the research and construct the verification of scientific knowledge. The article analyzes the lexical and grammatical means of expressing perceptivity, examines the theoretical aspects of its functioning, and assesses the role of perceptual constructions in the process of scientific argumentation.
