The article is devoted to the study of the concept of HUMANITY in its ontological, socio-cultural, and linguistic projections. The analytical review of the research literature reveals insufficient development of the issue in terms of linguistic and discursive objectification of this concept in domestic and international linguistic studies. The study also identifies the multi-paradigmatic nature of the phenomenon of humanity and establishes the theoretical and methodological foundation for its examination in English-language discourses. The main objective of the article is to systematize the ways of interpreting humanity as an ontological and axiological category and to explore the interrelation between the socio-cultural and linguistic components of this concept. The methodology of the research is based on the correlation of cognitive-semantic, cognitive-discursive, and pragma-stylistic analyses with fundamental principles rooted in philosophy and sociology. The importance of reconstructing the concept of humanity and identifying the specifics of its verbal objectification in modern discourse under global challenges, crises, and transformational social processes is substantiated.
Keywords:concept, humanity, philosophical projection, socio-cultural projection, linguistic aspect.
