INNOVATIVE MEANS OF MEDIA PEDAGOGY AS A FACTOR IN FORMING CIVIC IDENTITY OF STUDENTS OF PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITIES

The article is devoted to the use of innovative means of media pedagogy in order to form the civic identity of students of pedagogical universities. The definition of the concepts of «innovation», «innovation in education», «innovative means» is considered in order to identify key concepts. The key aspects of the use of media pedagogy in the educational process are revealed, and an analysis of the definition of the concept of «media pedagogy» by various authors is provided. The main effective innovative means of media pedagogy for the formation of civic identity of students of pedagogical universities are identified, such as digital educational technologies; immersive technologies; social technologies. The developed methodological recommendations for the use of media pedagogical teaching tools in order to form the civic identity of students of pedagogical universities are presented. The article reveals examples of successful practices aimed at developing social responsibility and active participation in the life of society, conducted in a number of pedagogical universities. An example of the implementation of a camp for children of participants of the Special Military Operation in the Interfaculty Technoparks of Universal Pedagogical Competencies and Pedagogical Technoparks Quantoriums is given. The advantages and disadvantages of the introduction of media pedagogy for the formation of the civic identity of students of pedagogical universities are analyzed.
