Today social networks are one of the leading channels whose content is actively consumed by schoolchildren. Of particular value is the video content, which is characterized by its accessibility, visibility and brightness. It plays a significant role in the process of value formation among younger schoolchildren – representatives of the "visual generation", who need to visually perceive the object of study, and not just read or listen about it. The purpose of this research is to study the theoretical and practical aspects of the influence of video content on social networks on the formation of key life values among schoolchildren. The methodological basis consists of general scientific methods: analysis of scientific literature, content analysis, classification, analysis and synthesis. Each method made it possible to ensure the reliability and evidence of the conclusions. This study concludes that for elementary school children who are still getting used to learning activities, video content helps not only to switch and take a break from lessons, but also to lay a powerful foundation for key life values. The result of the research is the introduction into scientific circulation of new empirical knowledge concerning the positive impact of the animated series "Fixiki" on the formation of key life values in primary school children.
