The article is devoted to the pedagogical substantiation of the process of forming this habit among students of non-core specialties with an emphasis on their future parental role. The aim of the work is to develop a pedagogical model focused not only on physical activity within the curriculum, but also on students' awareness of the value of physical culture as the basis for future parenthood and family health. The results demonstrate that the existing system of physical education in universities is often not effective enough to form a stable personal habit, especially in senior years, where classes become optional. The following problems were identified: low internal motivation, predominance of external regulation (credits, standards), high level of academic stress, lack of time and lack of direct connection between physical education and life prospects. As a pedagogical solution, it is proposed to introduce special modules and practices into the educational process, which, integrating knowledge from psychology, physiology and pedagogy, help students realize the long-term value of an active lifestyle for themselves and their future family, translating external stimuli into internal beliefs. Practical recommendations on digitalization in this field of education were also given. The main task is not technologization for the sake of technology, but the pedagogically sound integration of digital tools to deepen the personal meaning of physical activity and form sustainable habits that are transmitted to the next generations.
