This article examines the potential of a project-based approach to patriotic education among students at a cultural university. The relevance of this topic stems from the need to find new approaches to patriotic education among today's students. The specific nature of a cultural university is viewed as an environment where patriotic education is realized through the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical skills through project-based activities. Based on an analysis of completed projects, the conditions for the effectiveness of project-based activities are identified. A conclusion is drawn regarding the need to integrate a project-based approach into the educational process at a cultural university as a system-forming element of educational work.
