STEREOTYPES CONNECTED WITH NATIONAL CULTURE AS AN OBSTACLE TO THE INTEGRATION OF BIOETHICAL VALUES INTO RUSSIAN EDUCATION

The actuality of the current research is explained by the fact that nowadays discussing cultural identity, traditions preservation, image of Russia in the world, patriotic upbringing of young generations is always connected with issues of humanism. The objective of the work is to reveal how stereotypes about Russian mentality influence the formation of bioethical tendencies and values among children and youth. Its tasks are to compare stereotypes and reality, to define the consequences of widespread stamps having impact over society’s readiness for bioethical enlightenment and education. The basic methods of research are observation, fact correlation, conversation, induction, deduction. It has been established that in many cases stereotypes are caused by lack of objective information about the state of things in different spheres; that stereotypes can lead to spreading of inhumane actions and young people’s habituation to cruelty; that against the background of globalization there is a tendency to connect ideas implying minimization of cruelty with destruction of national values; that when national and religious rituals contradict to bioethical norms, the idea about the inviolability of the former is expressed, whereas in reality their choice is done at will. It has been found out that for overcoming the stereotypes enlightenment work with different social groups, civil actions against inhumane initiatives, joint efforts of educators aimed at fostering bioethical values are of utmost importance.
